In 1900 the females didn’t really know what to do with their hair. Same thing with the kids, the girls always had their hair down since they didn’t really know what to do. They would put it up and make it look like a birds nest. The kids would sometimes put hair clips or as they say “barrettes”.
The men would part their hair in the middle and gel it down. They would look like Adolf Hitler, and the kids would look like a Ken Barbie doll. Females and men were picky with hair. In family photos their hair would be perfect and their faces were very serious. Now that we know what 1900’s hairstyles are like, next is the 20th century.
